Doors opened Fall of 2003 to the City’s first Charter Elementary School built adjacent to the new Community/Recreation Center. The 45,000 square foot state-of-the-art school serves 600 Aventura schoolchildren from kindergarten to 5th grade and is the first municipal run charter school in Miami-Dade County.
